UPDATE: Divi MadMenu v1.6 introducing the Header Popups feature has been released!
It's been quite a while since the release of the last feature update for Divi MadMenu but I had been busy all this time working on another cool new feature.
And I would like to show a preview of what is coming soon with v1.6 of the plugin - the Header Popups.
How The Header Popups Work
The Header Popups feature will allow you to add popups to the headers created using Divi MadMenu.
This feature will be available initially for Divi MadMenu Button elements only. You will able to change the button type to popup thus turning it into a Popup Toggle, and then apply all popup settings(location, animations, etc.).
The Header Popups functionality makes use of the Divi Builder elements CSS ID feature.
First you assign a unique ID to the element. Then add the same ID to a Popup Toggle and that element becomes a popup immediately.
You can then toggle it by clicking the popup toggle and edit like any other element right in the Divi Theme Builder.
Both the header and the header popups are all created and edited in the same Theme Builder header template, you do it all in one place.
The Header Popups update opens up lots of new possibilities for headers design.
You will be able to add popups to your site header and add any content into these popups using the available Divi Builder elements.
Is this a feature you would use? Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions in the comments section below.
Great! Thanks Ivan.
