How To Export and Import Divi Theme Builder Templates
In this tutorial we’ll learn how to export Divi Theme Builder templates from one Divi installation and import into another.
For this tutorial our Theme Builder template contains the header template only (the FREE Divi Header Template #1) but it works the same way with any other template with or without any of the header/body/footer parts.
How To Export Divi Theme Builder Templates
To export a Divi Theme Builder template go to Divi -> Theme Builder and click the portability icon in the template’s toolbar which will reveal the Portability modal.

In the Portability modal give the export template a name and click the Export Divi Theme Builder Template button.

This will download the template JSON file which you can import into the Theme Builder of another Divi installation.
How To Import Divi Theme Builder Templates
To import a Theme Builder template go to Divi -> Theme Builder and click the portability icon at the top right corner of the page, this will open the Portability modal.

Go to the Import tab of the Portability modal and add the Theme Builder template JSON file that you’ve exported from the Theme Builder previously.
Then select the import options that you need (in this example we’re downloading a backup before importing) and click the Import Divi Theme Builder Templates button, this will import the template.

The imported template is initially unassigned, to assign it to posts/pages click the settings icon of the template which will open the Template Settings pane.

Select where you would like this template to be used on(eg.: All Pages)and excluded from in the Use On and Exclude From tabs respectively.
Then click the Save button at the bottom of the Template Settings pane and, finally, click the Save Changes button at the top left corner of the page to save the Theme Builder changes. This will save the template and make it apply on frontend.

You can now customize the imported template by clicking the Edit icon.

That’s all, hope this tutorial will be helpfull. Enjoy!
